Ingredients

Vidalia onion
diced

Prepared bourbon buttered morels
(see recipe)

Refrigerated crescent roll dough

Shredded Swiss cheese

Shredded Parmesan cheese

Chopped chives

beaten
Cracked black pepper
Coarse sea salt
Instructions
Preheat a small frying pan over medium low heat. Add butter.
When butter has melted, add onion. Saute onion for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.
Add onions to Bourbon Buttered Morels.
Unroll crescent roll dough on a sheet pan lined with non-stick foil into a large rectangle. Seal the seams to make one who rectangle of dough.
Spoon cheese lengthwise on each edge of the dough, leaving center of the dough empty.
Spoon prepared morels over cheese.
Roll each side of the rectangle in to the center and seal the ends.
Brush top of stuffed bread with beaten egg, then sprinkle Parmesan cheese evenly over the top. Sprinkle with cracked black pepper and coarse sea salt.
Bake in a 350 degree oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and bread is cooked through.
Let cool. Cut into pieces and serve with fresh chives.
