Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour We recommend King Arthur 100% Organic All Purpose Flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs beaten
- 1 cup chocolate milk
- 1 stick butter melted
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- ½ cup dark chocolate chips
Instructions
- In a medium size bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- In a separate bowl, combine eggs, milk, and butter. Add wet mixture to dry ingredients. Stir just until ingredients are combined.
- Spoon batter 1/3 full into paper-lined muffin tins. Press 1 caramel-filled dark chocolate into batter. Add more batter to make 2/3 full. Repeat with remaining cups.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from oven and let cool.
- Sprinkle top of each muffin with granulated sugar.
- Broil on high until sugar is caramelized.
- Remove from oven, then top each with a few more chocolate chips.
